The music video filmed at a studio near the home of Avalanche Software features the original composition by composer chuck e. Myers “sea”, J. Scott Rakozy and Peter Murray and performed by a 54-piece orchestra conducted by Nathan Hofheins.
Music of the Wizarding World, whether it’s Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts, has always been as magical as the stories in the movies. I expect Hogwarts Legacy to be no exception. As of right now, you can purchase the orchestra album “Overture to the Unwritten” available from all streaming services.
Furthermore, at launch, an additional Hogwarts Legacy (Original Video Game Soundtrack) will be available. However, there will also be a third album said to feature a focus on “ambient, chill, relaxing music that is ideal to listen to while studying for classes at Hogwarts or any school.” The third album is called Hogwarts Legacy (Study Themes from the Original Video Game Soundtrack).
Oh, and of course, there’s the game. Hogwarts Legacy will be released on February 10th, 2023 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It will also be released for the Nintendo Switch at a later date.
