The beta for the upcoming Football Manager 2014 is now accessible to everyone who pre-ordered the game from participating retailers or digital outlets. The beta has playable Manager Mode and Classic Mode, your careers carry over when the full game is launched at the end of the month.

Obviously, this is only a beta and isn’t the final polished version of the game and there are a number of known issues at the moment.

– The way AI managers and their staff pick teams, so in some cases they may not make the most ideal team selection.
– There may be the occasional incident where the goalkeeper makes a poor attempt at a save.
– There may be the occasional incident where you see a wild back pass.
– There is some balancing work on-going to the talking round of unhappy players.
– In some cases, sugar daddies may be a little too generous with their cash input.
– There is still some balancing work to be done to the MLS Trade system.
– When using Match Plans in Football Manager Classic, your assistant may substitute players earlier than specified.

If players do experience any issues when playing the game, SI has asked that they get reported here and they will look into them.

We have a code in the house, so look out for our review when the embargo lifts on 28th October.

Football Manager 2014 will launch on the 31st October for PC, Mac, and Linux OS. There is also going to be a Vita version of the game launching later this year.
