Fourth and Final Telltale’s The Walking Dead to release 2018

The fourth and final series for Telltale Game long-running and popular The Walking Dead will arrive in 2018.  Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season is in development right now and despite introducing Javier Garcia as a second playable lead in the third season, Telltale Games has confirmed that Clementine will take back her leading role, which is only right as it will surely conclude her story, I hope for a happy one, but I’m sure we’ll also get tears of sorrow for good measure.

The news was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con by Telltale Games and Skybound Entertainment’s Robert Kirkman.  A retrospective video can be seen below, in which you can hear the cast and crew’s thoughts on the journey that we have taken leading up to its final conclusion.

The voice of Clementine; Melissa Hutchinson had this to say on the announcement “It’s going to be an amazing experience. Thank you all so much, from the bottom of my heart,” said Melissa Hutchison. “It’s been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, and so much love has been behind this whole experience. Good luck, I’ll be right there with you.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will release in 2018 for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as for compatible iOS and Android devices.
