Friday The 13th Developer Is Apparently Making A Ghostbusters Game
Friday the 13th developer Illfonic is apparently making a new Ghostbusters game. Is it time to rejoice?
News of the Ghostbusters game was let slip by Illfonic co-founder Raphael Saadiq while talking on the Questlove Supreme podcast. On the top of games from Illfonic, Saadiq said: “Friday the 13th, the last one, Predator, and we’re working on Ghostbusters right now.”
If these rumours are true, then I hope that it’s not another asymmetrical multiplayer game like Friday the 13th and Predator: Hunting Grounds. I loved the 2009 Ghostbusters game, which acted as a sequel to the 1989 movie. However, I felt it was missing a co-op in the story campaign.
That being said, I’d love to see a four-player co-op story campaign and not asymmetrical multiplayer. I’ll have my fingers crossed. The 2009 Ghostbusters game was remastered in 2019 for modern consoles. You can read our review of Ghostbusters: The Video Game here.
