Last week, Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Frontline. A 102-player battle royale in which teams of three compete against each other and complete in-game objectives.

However, the announcement wasn’t welcomed by the vast majority of fans. In fact, it was disliked quite massively. For example, at the time of writing the reveal trailer has over 4.5 Likes, but a massive 18k+ Dislikes. So yeah, that’s not quite the ratio Ubisoft had hoped for.

The beta test was supposed to take place from this week on October 14th to the 21st. However, it was for PC and in Europe only.

While the reason for the postponement, it’s not too much of a far stretch to believe that Ubisoft came to this decision following the negative fan feedback.

In a social media post, Ubisoft said: “We have decided it is best to postpone the Closed Test for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Frontline. The development team is dedicated to creating the best experience possible.

We’ll share details on the new date for the Closed Test as soon as we can. Thank you for your ongoing support.
