Ubisoft has announced Ghost Recon Frontline, a free-to-play PvP shooter which can accommodate up to 102 players.

Ghost Recon Frontline will take place on an island called Drakemoor and will offer players complete freedom to explore and a strategic setting. While it will feature “various modes” its main mode will be a battle royale. Shocking, I know.

Frontline will have teams of 3 totalling 102 players. On the large map, there will be no closing circles as seen in other battle royale games. Players will also need to collect intel and complete objectives while fighting other online players, before calling in for an extraction. Players will also get to choose from a variety of character classes that can be levelled up and customised.

Ghost Recon Frontline will also have a closed beta (Europe only) which will run from October 14th to October 21st for PC players. You can register for the beta here. However, additional betas will take place at a later date.
