First person action parkour game Ghostrunner has been revealed to be releasing at the end of next month, with a private beta opening for a selection of those who apply to try the game early and test any issues.

In order to apply for the beta you’ll need to join the Ghostrunner Discord server and submit an application (details are in the description of the shared YouTube video below), however if you’re not too bothered about this and would just like to try out the game prior to purchase then a free demo will be releasing on Steam on the 29th of September.

The game sees you playing as an acrobatic assassin killing his way through a cyber-punk city (both in the physical world and digital) in order to make your way to the top of a tower to defeat the ominously named “Keymaster”.

Another trailer was released with this announcement which shows off some of the action, and you can watch this below. The game is releasing for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 27th October along with some pre-order bonuses – including Katanas designed for each platform – and should be costing £24.99.
