Ubisoft has released 30 minutes of Skull and Bones gameplay following its recent delay for the 6th time.

Recently, Ubisoft delayed Skull and Bones for the 6th time. A game that began development in 2013, intended as an expansion for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, before morphing into its own standalone project.

If there is one game that defines “development hell”, Skull and Bones would be a contender. However, despite the decent delay, Ubisoft wants to remind us that rather than being cancelled, the game is still being released. Which apparently has more to do with a deal with the Singapore government, apparently. Still, the game is still being released for better or worse.

The 30 minutes of gameplay is courtesy of the latest of “The Deck” In the gameplay presentation will see exploration, combat, discussions and more. At this time, there is no new release date for Skull and Bones. All we know at this time is that it will be released sometime during the 2023/24 fiscal year.
