Here’s 15 minutes of gruesome Dead Island 2 gameplay

Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver have released 15 minutes of new gloriously gory gameplay for Dead Island 2.
In this generous helping of extended gameplay, see plenty of zombie slaying, gore, weapon crafting and side activities. We also see how Skill Cards can enhance your abilities with each set being tailored to the four playable characters.
The gameplay takes place at the beginning of the game in Bel Air, LA. To be honest, each time I see new gameplay for Dead Island 2, it appears to be getting better every time.

We are also introduced to some of the various zombie types in the game, such as standard zombies, walkers, shamblers, runners, grenadier walkers and the Apex type. Each of the zombie variants brings its own unique powers and will require different strategies to bring them down.
What’s more, in this extended gameplay, we get to see the antics of Dani, from County Cork, Ireland. Dani is every bit as deadly as she is sarcastic, and she loves to slay the undead masses. Finally, we also see Dani’s superpower thanks to her corrupted DNA which triggers Fury Mode. Each of the four playable characters will have their unique Fury Mode.
Dead Island 2 will be released on 21st April 2023 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
