Here’s a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Music of DOOM Eternal

The release of DOOM Eternal finally arrives this month and fans across the world are excited to be slaying some hell demons once more.  DOOM in 2016 looked and played great, but one of its other standout features, was its incredible and adrenaline pumping soundtrack.  So the folks at id Software wants to make sure that DOOM Eternal tops the awesome soundtrack of the 2016 release.

In order to do so, they have once again enlisted the help of composer Mick Gordon who returns to the series to bring us a new level of excitement with the combination of heavy metal and a choir, collectively known as a Heavy Metal Choir.  So to reveal how they’ll bring the awesome soundtrack to life, Bethesda has released a special behind-the-scenes look at the process of making the DOOM Eternal soundtrack.

DOOM Eternal will release on March 20th for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, then later in the year for the Nintendo Switch.  While you wait, you can read our review of DOOM (2016) here.
