Here’s a fresh look at Juliet Starling from the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw remake.
In July 2022, Grasshopper Manufacture announced that it had acquired the Lollipop Chainsaw licence from Kadowa Games and it’s developing a remake of the underrated Hack and Slash zombie slayer.

Sadly at this time, we’re still yet to see the remake in action. All we’ve had following the announcement last year is a screenshot, and now a comparison image. The comparison image in question puts the 2012 version of Juliet Starling alongside the remade version.
Sure, there’s not much there in terms of style. However, I would say that despite the cartoon style, Juliet does look a little more realistic. This was the intention of Grasshopper Manufacture CEO, Yoshima Yasuda when the remake was announced.
We still don’t have a release date for the Lollipop Chainsaw remake or which platforms it will come to. However, we do know that it will release in 2023 and it’s likely to come to PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
