Here’s a New Look at Watch Dogs Legion and Collector’s Edition Detailed #UbisoftForward

At the Ubisoft Forward event this week, we got another look at the forthcoming Watch Dogs: Legion, set in the not too distant London, England.  Watch Dogs: Legion was supposed to release in March of this year, but it was delayed by Ubisoft and it seems that the added development time is paying off.

Watch Dogs: Legion is set in a huge, open-world city of London, recreated to an incredible amount of detail and accuracy, with many recognisable landmarks and streets.  However, it’s the population of England’s capital that will be the star of the show, because you can quite literally have any wondering NPC as a playable character, each with their own back-story.

The theme of the series has always been about oppression, being under surveillance  by the powers that be of the establishments and Watch Dogs: Legion takes that aspect to the next level, in a post-Brexit UK, tensions between the people and the governments are at an all-time high and to help ease, or should I say “control” the population, is the private military group known as Albion.  However, Albion has underestimated the power of the people and it’s up to you to lead the resistance and fight back against those that aim to control us!

As highlighted in the overview video, we not only see how we can interact with the world, but we also get a glimpse of the customisation that will be available to us, from an individual’s personality, their style, as well as skills and abilities.  Watch Dogs: Legion will also be playable with up-to three friends as you explore the city and take on co-op missions together.

You can watch the overview trailer above and as an added bonus, an awesome cinematic video has also been released, created by Emmy Award Winner Alberto Mielgo, inspired by the game show hosted by Ben Sheppard.

There is also a Collector’s Edition, exclusive to the online Ubisoft Shop which has an RRP of £149.99, but you can get a 20% discount by redeeming your Ubi Points.
