While we never got to see a proper reveal for next-gen version of Dragon Age, Need for Speed or Battlefield at EA Play last night, we did at the very least get a technology tease to give us a brief hint of what we could be treated to with the next generation of consoles.

The short demo began with a glimpse of what looked like the next Need for Speed game, which will developed by Criterion and it was revealed that we can come to expect super-fast loading times and seamless play.

Then we got a tease for the next Dragon Age game to be developed once again by BioWare.  It never revealed much, other than letting us know that it’s going to look very pretty.  It featured a creepy tree and a red lyrium lit arch, with what looked like a decayed castle in its backdrop.

Then we got one final glimpse of the next-gen technology, this time showing the level of detail that we can expect from the future of the Battlefield series.  We saw a large wave of soldiers which looked like they were storming a beach, as well as some lifelike details to a character that might feature in the next game.
