Here’s a Trailer Dedicated to the Story of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Eivor!

Following the in-depth look at the gameplay of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla at this week’s Ubisoft Forward event, we got to learn plenty about the game.  We learned how the combat works, XP progression, use of weapons, raiding, building settlements and so much more.  However, we never really learned all that much about its protagonist Eivor, but Ubisoft has released a trailer that gives us an indication as to what Eivor is all about.

Eivor is a leader of a Viking clan who leads the charge to invade England to live a new and better life, but as you can imagine, invasions are not all that welcome.  However, Eivor must not only carry the responsibility of leading the charge, but the fate of all the Viking warriors is in his or her hands.  I say “his or her” because upon starting your story in AC: Valhalla, you can play as either a male or female, yet unlike Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, you can change from male to female, in-game and on the fly with seamless story integration.

You can watch the trailer dedicated to Eivor below.  Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 17^th, and then at the launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X, in which players will receive a free next-gen upgrade, for those that own the current-gen version.
