Here’s the first Gameplay Look at Fast & Furious Crossroads!
Last year, a new Fast & Furious title was revealed with Crossroads, presented awkwardly by stars of the movies Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez. Usually I’d always be skeptical with movie license videogames, but seeing as Fast & Furious is being developed by the team at Codemasters, it gives me some confidence and a benefit of the doubt, which I’d otherwise might not have.
After waiting months to see some proper gameplay, Bandai Namco and Codemasters have released a gameplay “showcase” trailer and to be fair, it does look like it could be fun. The gameplay video looks as ridiculous as the movies with over the top set-pieces and battle encounters. Much of the gameplay looks to be inspired by the classic Burnout series, which is always a plus in my book.
In Fast & Furious Crossroads, stars of the movies such as Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Tyrese Gibson will reprise their roles and will take us across the world to locations including Athens, Barcelona and Morocco. It will also feature a three-player multiplayer mode that will be detailed in the coming weeks.
