As part of Sega’s 60th anniversary, they are hosting special streams, launching giveaways and a host of classic Sega titles will be on offer.  However, for me personally, the highlight of the 60th anniversary celebration is the official mash-up of Streets of Rage and Yakuza!

Published by Sega and developed by Empty Clip Studios, Streets of Kamurocho is a 16-bit celebration of yesteryear and will only be available for a limited time, launching this Monday on October 17th.  In Streets of Kamurocho, you will play as series legends Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, and following the death of the Third Chairman, there’s going to be hell to pay and the legends of Kamurocho are out to collect!

At this time there’s no word as to whether Streets of Kamurocho will release on any other platforms other then PC via Steam, but if not, at least it’s not a very demanding game in terms of PC specifications and even my craptop should be able to run it.

You can watch the Streets of Kamurocho announcement trailer below and you can add it to your Steam Wishlist here.
