Hideo Kojima Is Apparently Making a Horror Game, Claims Report
Hideo Kojima is reportedly developing a new horror game called Overdose. That’s at least according to journalist Tom Henderson.
According to a report on Try Hard Guides, Henderson claims to have been sent footage of the game which features Margaret Qualley, who plays Mama in Death Stranding.
The horror game in question is said to be in third-person but also comes with the option of a first-person perspective. Additionally, the leaked footage features a jump scare at the very end with the words “GAME OVER” followed by “‘A Hideo Kojima Game’… ‘OVERDOSE’.”
Kojima Productions has since reached out after the publication of this article via email to ask for its removal.
I have denied the request.

Furthermore, Henderson also tweeted that Kojima Productions reached out to him, asking for his article to be removed. Henderson refused. Now, we must take all rumours with a pinch of salt. However, with Summer Game Fest as well as the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase only days away, hopefully, we’ll learn more soon either way.
