Hideo Kojima Is Making A New Game For Xbox Studios

It was announced during the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase that legendary developer, Hideo Kojima is making a new game for Xbox Game Studios.
Practically nothing was revealed, just that Kojima Productions will be making a brand new game and by the sounds of it, it will be a console exclusive for Xbox Series X|S.
Xbox Game Studios & Kojima Productions are partnering to create a video game for Xbox like no one has ever experienced before, leveraging the cloud.

“It’s a completely new game, one that no one has ever experienced or seen before,” said Kojima. “I’ve waited very long for the day I could finally start to create it.
“With Microsoft’s cutting edge cloud technology and the change in the industry’s trend it has now become possible to challenge myself to make this never-before-seen concept.” Kojima concluded: “It may take some time, but I’m looking forward to teaming up with Xbox Game Studios and hope to bring you some exciting news in the future! Thank you!”

It will be interesting to see how Xbox’s cloud-based software will be utilized. For most developers, live-service alarm bells would be ringing. However, I trust Kojima Productions will offer its own twist.
