Ken Levine’s first game under his new studio Ghost Story Games was revealed at The Game Awards last week.

In 2017, Ken Levine launched his new studio, it was announced that a new game will be in development. At the time Levine said that the studio wants: “to create immersive, story-driven games for people who love games that ask something of them. While we believe our new games will have strong appeal to fans of BioShock, our new focus allows us to craft experiences where the gameplay is as challenging as the stories.

Well, judging by the reveal trailer, that’s pretty much exactly what we’re getting with Judas. The game in question looks to be heavily inspired by BioShock with elemental powers, suspense with some action thrown in to boot.

However, rather than featuring twisted inhabitants of Rapture, we’ll instead be facing creepy robots in space. Furthermore, at The Game Awards, host Geoff Keighley stated that he played several hours of Judas and the trailer is an accurate portrayal of what the game would be. However, no actual gameplay was featured in the trailer.

Nonetheless, the cinematic trailer was certainly enough to get me excited if the tone is replicated in the game and it lives up to the BioShock legacy. No release date was announced for Judas, but it will release for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
