Konami Announces Free UEFA Euro 2020 DLC for PES 2020 #Gamescom2019

Konami has announced a new partnership with UEFA that will bring the officially licensed international tournament, Euro 2020 to eFootball PES 2020 as DLC and best of all, it will be free!

As a result of the partnership, eFootball PES 2020 will be the official partner of the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament and exclusive to the game, with the free DLC expected to launch during Q2 of next year (so basically around the summer, in time for the real tournament).

The partnership also means that all 50 international teams competing in the tournament will be officially kitted out in their kits, crests and player likenesses.  Marketing Director of UEFA Events, Guy Laurent- Epstein had this to say on the announcement; “We are very pleased to continue and extend our working partnership with KONAMI. UEFA EURO 2020 provides an opportunity to build an even closer working relationship, allowing us to activate it in new and exciting ways, and to engage with our mutual fans around the world.

In addition to this partnership deal bringing forth the free DLC, Konami and UEFA will also launch a brand new eSports competition with the UEFA eEuro 2020 Tournament.  The tournament will begin with a qualifying round with the top 16 teams competing at an event in London between the semi-finals and final of UEFA Euro 2020.

eFootball PES 2020 will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 10th.
