Life is Strange: Remastered Collection has been delayed by Square Enix into 2022. However, there is some good news.

Due to the ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic, we want to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life is Strange team by giving more time between the release of Life is Strange: True Colors and the Life is Strange Remastered Collection,” reads a statement on social media.

In a series of follow-up tweets, Square Enix clarified that the Life is Strange: Ultimate Edition which also includes Life is Strange True Colors, will still include the Remastered Collection once it becomes available. Unfortunately, there is no set release date for the Remastered Collection, other than early 2022.

In further day news, Square Enix also announced that Life is Strange: True Colors will no longer release on September 10th for Nintendo Switch. However, it is still aiming to release this year. A new release date for the Nintendo Switch will be announced in the coming weeks.

So, shall we get on to the good news? Now that the Remastered Collection will not release on September 30th, Square Enix has announced that the Life Is Strange: Wavelengths DLC will now take its place on that date. Wavelengths will star series fan-favourite Steph. See, it’s not all bad news.

Life is Strange: True Colors will release on September 10th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia. It will then release at a later date for the Nintendo Switch.

Life is Strange: Remastered Collection will release early next year for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
