4A games have just wrapped up their upcoming shooter Metro 2033, which is based on the novel with the same name and has now entered the manufacturing stage.

The game takes place in post-apocalyptic Moscow underground metro stations and will see players jumping out of their skins.

"We’re excited to be bringing such a truly original experience to market," said Richard Williams, Vice President of Global Brand Management, THQ. "Metro 2033 couples a deep and engaging story with incredibly atmospheric first person shooter gameplay, and the 4A Engine provides cutting edge technology behind the most impressive visuals seen on either PC or console to date."

The is set for release on both Xbox 360 and PC, with the PC version having full DX 11 support (if I only had a DX 11 GPU) as well as NVIDIA PhysX implementation.
