My.com Unveils Skyforge Berserker Class & Beta Access Mini-Game

My.com has unveiled a new mini-game offering players the chance to win a closed beta key for their upcoming title, Skyforge, a sci-fi fantasy MMORPG developed by Allods Team and Obsidian Entertainment. Live until 23rd December, Aelion’s Treasure also gives players an opportunity at grabbing exclusive souvenirs and assorted prizes from My.com, Creative and NVIDIA.

The game itself is clearly styled off of Skyforge’s Ascension Atlas – the system used for levelling and ability unlocks in the game. Each day, users will have seven attempts to find as many blue gems as possible on a board of 21 gems – find five and secure yourself access to the closed beta. Prizes include an exclusive Skyforge Souvenir Gift Set and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 graphics card. There are plenty of surprises along the way, as well as a leaderboard to track players’ progress and world rankings, with the top 20 players each week receiving a closed beta invite, whilst the top ranking player will be rewarded with a Sound Blaster EVO ZXR Headset.

This announcement comes the same week that the studio lifted the lid on the game’s third starter class: the Berserker. Those who read our hands-on preview will know the berserker as the furiously-aggressive melee class, wielding the giant mechanical chainsword (sci-fi and fantasy should meet up more often…).

Described by the developers as “quick to anger and ruthless on the battlefield“, the berserker is an all-out aggro class, delivering rapid damage in close combat. Learn what moves they bring to table in the reveal video above:

Come face to face with one of Skyforge’s advance classes — the Berserker! Quick to anger and ruthless on the battlefield, the Berserker is proficient at carving through enemies with their super-heated blade.

Fuelled by rage, the Berserker throws caution to the wind in favour of leaping headlong into battle in order to dish out huge amounts of damage. Using their massive weapon, the Berserker can disrupt enemies by slamming them to the ground and sowing fear in their hearts with the Berserker’s thundering roar.
