Red Faction Armageddon’s obligatory 4 Player Co-Op

Usually when I hear news that yet another predominately single player title is having an ill advised multiplayer aspect shoehorned in I let out a “sigh” so utterly intense that it’s almost beyond mortal comprehension, especially when that multiplayer aspect happens to be a generic Left 4 Dead style 4 player Co-Op survival thingy (there really needs to be an official name for that).

However the few memories I can summon from 2009 of Red Faction: Guerrilla‘s multiplayer are all extremely positive, so perhaps this “Infestation mode” will prove to be more than just another half-assed afterthought forced in by over eager publishing executives. I guess only time will tell, but until then here’s a little preview of what to expect when Armageddon* hits on June 2nd in the UK (May 31st for NA) for the PS3, PC and Xbox 360.

* I’m talking about the game by the way, not the actual Armageddon. I mean Jesus, the world ending a week before E3? That would suck.
