Resident Evil 4 trailer confirms demo, Mercenaries and more
A new Resident Evil 4 remake gameplay trailer that premiered at Sony’s State of Play revealed an upcoming demo, Mercenaries and more.
Firstly, the trailer was quite revealing, perhaps too much so. Personally, I believe that trailers nowadays reveal too much and don’t keep enough surprises for launch. That being said, certain character appearances in the trailer were a give if you’re familiar with the original RE4.

However, the trailer did also reveal Mercenaries, a mode that fans hoped to see its return in the Resident Evil 4 remake. Mercenaries will arrive as post-launch DLC for free to those that own the game.
What’s more, the trailer also teased an upcoming “special” playable demo for Resident Evil 4. As is always the case, I will say to myself that I won’t play the demo. However, I know that I’m lying to myself.
