Warner Bros has reportedly delayed Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (again) following its recent poor reception.

In February, we got to see the first proper gameplay footage for Suicide Squad and while it looked nice, at least in visuals, the gameplay left much to be desired. It looked like a proper looter shooter/live-service offering and appeared to be a far cry from the likes of the Batman Arkham series. It’s fair to say that it wasn’t all that well received by fans.

As such, as reported by Eurogamer, the decision has now been made to delay the game again. Its most recent release date was 26 May 2023, but that no longer might not be the case. Instead, reports claim that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release “later this year”. However, would that really be enough time to change the game and win over the doubters? Only time will tell.
