Rumours State That Dead Space Is Getting A “Reimagining” Reboot

Several rumours that the fantastic survival horror series Dead Space could be in line for a reimagining/reboot.
Over the last several days there have been rumours that Dead Space might be getting a reboot or perhaps even a remaster of the original trilogy.
However, as first reported by Jeff Grubb of Games Beat, it Is believed that EA Motive is the studio behind the “reimagining”. Then to back up those claims, Eurogamer corroborated with the reports, followed by Gematsu adding further foundations to the rumours.
In my humble opinion, as the old saying goes “there’s no smoke without fire” and I believe that this may be the case with the recent Dead Space rumours. Electronic Arts’ next EA Play event is next month on July 22nd and it is believed this is when the Dead Space reveal will take place.
I love the Dead Space series, but even I admit that the third game seriously lost its way and was no longer scary. So if there’s any series that is in need of a reboot of sorts, then it’s Dead Space. That’s as long as they inject a serious dose of horror back into the series.
