SEGA producer Daisuke Sato wants to remaster the criminally underrated Binary Domain.

Daisuke with Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released Binary Domain way back in 2012 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

It was a fun third-person shooter which was inspired by the likes of Gears of War, but in Binary Domain you were able to issue your squad with commands (by voice if you preferred) and your actions had an impact on the story.

Binary Domain is also developed by the same team that brought us the fantastic Yakuza series, with both games being worlds apart in teams of style.

Speaking to French media website GameBlog (via VGC), Daisuke Sato revealed that he’d love to remaster Binary Domain should the opportunity arise:

Personally, I’d really like to [remaster Binary Domain] (laughs). If possible, I’d like to make a few changes that I didn’t quite get to back then and maybe redo some parts, too.

Would I like to see Binary Domain remastered?  Certainly!  Do I believe it will happen?  Probably not.
