Silent Hill 2 remake images reportedly leak

Silent Hill 2 remake images have reportedly leaked, a remake that is rumoured to be developed by Bloober Team.
The Tokyo Game Show kicks off next week from September 15th to 18th. So naturally, the rumour mill is spinning fast and with Konami being a Japanese publishing giant, its franchises are a topic of discussion once more.

The rumoured Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober Team is once again making the rounds and this time alleged images from a pitch demo to Konami have leaked. The images appear to be from what looks like the Wood Side and/or Blue Creek Apartments as well as Brookhaven Hospital. The latter which I assume is a “Bubble Head Nurse” seems to be in one of the images.
Furthermore, the screenshots look to have an over-the-shoulder camera perspective, an angle which was not used in the original SH2. This camera perspective was made famous with Resident Evil 4 which prominently featured in many video games in the years that followed.
In a Resetera post, prominent industry leaker, Dusk Golem said: “these are from an internal pitch demo from Bloober [Team] before they got greenlit, so it’s literally a no-budget proof of concept thing. This isn’t actually what the final game looks like.“

Additionally, VGC has also backed up the claims by Dusk Golem by collaborating with its own sources. However, VGC claims that this Silent Hill remake will be a timed PlayStation exclusive as well as launching for PC.
Obviously, we must take all rumours with a pinch of salt. However, these are rumours that never seem to go away. Hopefully, if there is a Silent Hill 2 remake on the way, it all will be revealed at the TGS next week.
Sadly, it seems a shame to me that the original Silent Hill appears to be overlooked in favour of its more popular sequel.
