Capcom has released a playable demo for Street Fighter 6 and it’s available now.

The demo is available to play now for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

In the demo, you will be able to: “learn basic battle mechanics from the Tutorial and practice Luke & Ryu’s moves and fighting style in the Character Guide. Dip a toe into the first few moments of World Tour where you can experiment with the deep avatar creation feature.” What’s more, your custom avatars will be transferable in the full game.

Capcom has also revealed plans for the Year 1 roadmap, which feels strange seeing as the game isn’t out yet.

The first character to arrive is Rashid of the Turbulent Wind who made his debut in SF5. Rashid will be available summer 2023. Then in August, the “enigmatic A.K.I.” arrives, followed by Young Commander who also debuted in SF5, arriving in early winter 2023. Finally, the legendary Akuma arrives in the spring of 2024.

Street Fighter 6 will be released for PC, PlayStation and Xbox on 2 June 2023.
