Streets of Rage 4 Gets a Massive Update with Over 80 Improvements

Streets of Rage 4 is one of my favourite games of this year, especially being a fan of the three originals.  For me, there wasn’t much fault with Streets of Rage 4 as it was a fantastic beat ‘em up in just about every way.  However, the developers at Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games obviously feel that Streets of Rage 4 can be improved upon, as indicated by the recent update, which makes more than 80 improvements to the game as they celebrate over 1.5 million digital sales.

The big update doesn’t offer anything all that game changing, as its more about character buffs, performance enhancements, as well as fixing some reported bugs and balancing issues.  But if the developers feel that they can make Streets of Rage 4 even better with subtle changes here and there, then I’m all for that.  You can read the full patch notes here.
