Suicide Squad game Battle Pass leaks with cosmetic emphasis

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has had its Battle Pass leaked which suggests an emphasis on cosmetic items.

A tweet was shared by video game journalist Andre Marno which featured an image of the four playable characters, Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, King Shark and Deadshot. The image seemed to show hints at squad loadouts, character progression and various in-game currencies.

The image in question which apparently originated on the forums 4chan, before making its way to Reddit, was later verified by VGC. Sources of VGC, said to be close to the development of the game, say that the image was taken from a recent PlayStation test build.

The source close to VGC also stated that the Battle Pass will mainly focus on cosmetic items, so I assume that means no pay-to-win. Hopefully, regular in-game unlockables won’t be too grindy to unlock.

In Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the gang is ordered by Amanda Waller to put an end to Brainiac’s plot to take over our world. However, this will prove no easy task, especially as Brainiac has control of the likes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash!

The Suicide Squad game will be playable solo or co-op online with up to four players. You will attempt to kill the justice league on May 26th for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
