Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 3 screenshots hint at Clem’s motherly instincts

At the San Diego Comic-Com, Telltale Games and Skybound Entertainment were in attendance with their very own panel, talking about the upcoming season three of their The Walking Dead series.  The voice of Clementine; Melissa Hutchison was also a part of the panel.

At E3 last month, we got our first look at season three with a teaser trailer, along with some new screenshots.  The trailer revealed a new survivor that will be accompanying Clem in the zombie-apocalyptic world and that man is Javier.  It was hinted that both characters will be playable in series three, offering two story perspectives.

At the SDCC panel, a batch of new screenshots were revealed, that not only showed Clem and Javier, but a little friend that we got to meet towards the end of the previous season (I’m keeping details to a minimum, just in case you’re yet to finish season two).  At the panel, they also revealed that by having a character such as Javier, who has no previous relationship to Clem, it will “provide an interesting opportunity for players to meet a character they may have helped shape.”  So it will be interesting to see how his story was possibly shaped in the background of the first two seasons.

But that’s not all, as an awesome poster was on show that paid homage to the original poster of The Walking Dead from the SDCC in 2011.  Telltale Games has also promised that we’ll be able to win that very poster (as seen above), with details to be announced this summer.  You can also check out the new screenshots below.

Season three of Telltale’s The Walking Dead will release towards the end of this year.
