The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game announced!

With the upcoming movie arriving at cinemas this September, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games has announced The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game which will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on October 6th.

While it may seem strange to have the video game release about a month after its movie counterpart, it makes sense for the purpose of avoiding spoilers, as much like The Lego Movie Video Game, the their stories will closely follow one another.

In The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game (that’s one hell of a tongue twister), you’ll be able to play as fan favourites such as Lloyd, Nya, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane and of course Master Wu as you defend your homeland from the evil clutches of Lord Garmadon and his Shark Army.  The game will feature “eight large, action-packed locations” as well as a wave-based mode called the Challenge Dojo as you battle hordes of enemies with an increasing difficulty.  Borrowing from Lego Dimensions, The Lego Ninjago Video Game will also include its very own Battle Maps, where players can battle one another with four match-types via split-screen play with up-to four players.
