Undisputed, that awesome-looking Boxing game comes to Steam Early Access this month on January 31st.

Previously called “Esports Boxing Club”, the first major boxing game in a decade changed its name to Undisputed when it announced that it would be published by Plaion. Personally, I prefer the new name.

Developed by Steel City Interactive, Undisputed promised to be the most authentic boxing game ever. It will feature 50 boxing greats of past and present including Muhammad Ali,  Tyson Fury, Katie Taylor, Rocky Marciano, Sugar Ray Leonard, Joe Frazier, Sophie Alisch, Joe Louis, Frank Bruno and more. The early access phase of Undisputed will feature:

Over 50 playable characters including Tyson Fury, Canelo Alvarez, Deontay Wilder, Katie Taylor and a fully-fledged women’s division across 6 unique fight locations, including a large arena, and Coldwell’s gym. Players can enjoy Undisputed offline against friends or AI opponents, or they can go online to compete for a place on the leaderboards.

Undisputed key features:

  • Revolutionary footwork mechanics, including a Loose Movement modifier to help players move around the ring with ease
  • More than 60 individual punches. Players can punch from multiple angles, feint to set up a trap and counter
  • All the tools needed to be a defensive wizard. Players can slip punches, weave, dodge and block
  • Physics-driven interactions – punches can sometimes go around or even through the guard
  • Up close and personal inside fighting like never before.

Is Undisputed coming to consoles?

Yes, Undisputed will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, those release dates are yet to be announced. That being said, you can jump into Steam Early Access here, ready for its January 31st launch.
