Finally, the Watch Dogs Legion multiplayer modes are now live for you and your friends to enjoy.

The multiplayer modes will be added to your game the next time your fire up an update with a live internet connection.

The free update will add freeroam open-world co-op, where you can team up with three other friends to complete missions, explore or just cause mayhem in the city of London.

The co-op missions will be two-to-four players and even let you acquire new recruits to fight back against tyranny and oppression.

The update will also bring the PvP mode, Spiderbot Arena, where four players will battle it out against each other with armed robotic robots in a free-for-all deathmatch.  I suppose it’s kinda like that old show, Robot Wars.

As of right now, two additional single-player missions will become available for season pass owners, the Guardian Protocol: DedSec and Not in Our Name, as detailed below:

Guardian Protocol: DedSec will track down an algorithm that shows that AI can sometimes override human decision. If this algorithm was to be used in weaponised drones… they would have power over life and death.

Not In Our Name: DedSec discovers a secret group using their name in London, working under the orders of a ruthless tabloid owner, who uses information stolen by this group to blackmail his notorious victims and gain power in the city.

To get a hint of what the free multiplayer update brings to your Watch Dogs: Legion experience, you can check out the new gameplay trailer below.

The update is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia.

In my review of Watch Dogs: Legion I said: “Watch Dogs Legion is one of the most fun, unique and innovative games I’ve played”.
