Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty gets its first gameplay trailer

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty from Tecmo Koei gets its first gameplay trailer and to be honest, it looks quite awesome.

Perhaps in some ways, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty could be considered a spiritual successor to Tecmo Koei’s other Souls-like series, Nioh. However, after watching this first gameplay trailer, it gave me Ninja Gaiden vibes. Just like Nioh and Ninja Gaiden, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is developed by Team Ninja. So, its inspirations should come as no surprise.

Prepare yourself for the dark Three Kingdoms filled with demons & get a glimpse of some of the sword-based action rooted in Chinese martial arts, where actions flow gracefully between offensive & defensive maneuvers.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty tells the tale of a “dark Three Kingdoms plagued by demons” in a supernatural world. Combat is inspired by Chinese martial arts with sword-based gameplay and flamboyant power moves.

Furthermore, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will get its first playable demo at the Tokyo Game Show on September 15^th, so expect more gameplay reveals and details to arrive.
