YIIK Gets a New Demo For PC and Mac

YIIK, the post modern RPG that seems a wonderful mash up of JRPG’s and Western culture, is getting closer to a release date. There’s still work to be done on it before we see the full game on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Wii U, but a new demo has been released for PC and Mac users. Called Episode Prime you can download it for free via their website RIGHT NOW!

It’s a standalone quest that won’t spoil the main game, but will let people try out the mechanics of it to help them understand fully what it is. It’s rare that Western games try to recreate JRPG’s, but YIIK seems to be one that not only recreates what makes JRPG’s fun, but adds a wonderful Western flavour to it. An official release date is still unknown, but you can watch the most recent trailer for it below.
