DmC: Definitive Edition – Vergil’s Bloody Palace Detailed
The Dante’s Bloody Palace was a popular mode with the initial DmC reboot that saw the player take on waves of enemies with increased difficulty as the mode progressed. Since then many players had wanted Virgil to have his very own Bloody Palace, but the DLC never happened. Thankfully he will however get his very own Bloody Palace in the DmC: Definitive Edition. So today Ninja Theory’s Dominic Matthews gives us a few added details, as well as releasing a new gameplay video, all courtesy of the PlayStation Blog.
Vergil’s Bloody Palace will feature a 60 floor combat area and will see the difficulty progress through 5 stages. The Bloody Palace will begin on the Nephilim difficulty for the first 20 waves, then moving up to the Son of Sparda difficulty, before ending the last 20 waves on the Vergil Must Die difficulty.
Matthews also shares some tactics to help you prove to be successful in the challenging mode, you can also checkout three new screenshots below.
When you layer everything up, you can hit with three or four attacks at a time, which is when Vergil is doing the most damage. Of course Devil May Cry is not just about killing enemies but also about how you kill them. Some stylish moves I recommend trying out are jump cancelling with the Killer Bee and following up an Atomic with a Solar Flare. Loads of damage and loads of style!
DmC: Definitive Edition will release for the PS4 and Xbox One on March 10th.
