Gran Turismo 7 will be a PSVR2 launch title
Sony and Polyphony Digital has announced that Gran Turismo 7 will be a PSVR2 launch title.
Best of all, those that already own the base game, will receive the PSVR2 game for free via an update. Happy days.
Big PlayStation VR2 news from today’s CES keynote:
☑️ 30+ games on track for launch window
☑️ Gran Turismo 7 free PS VR2 upgrade at launch
☑️ Beat Saber in development

At this time, we do not know how in-depth Gran Turismo 7 will be on PSVR2. The PSVR version of Gran Turismo Sport was limited to only head-to-head races and as well as time trials. Hopefully, the PSVR2 version will have more to offer. However, it’s a nice free addition nonetheless.
Despite being implemented with microtransactions and an increased launch post-launch, in my review of Gran Turismo 7, I said it is: “a sublime experience and is as close to racing perfection as it’s going to get.”
In related Gran Turismo news, we got our first look courtesy of a brand-new trailer. The Gran Turismo 7 PSVR2 upgrade will go live on February 22nd, 2023.
