Snipperclips

When the Nintendo Switch had its release date announced many were disappointed by the lack of launch titles available. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2-Switch and Super Bomberman R were the biggest of the launch line-up games announced and originally, there was only two others joining them. However, it would appear that a few more titles will be joining the original five though, and some of them will be doing so via the eShop.

The biggest news is that Snipperclips, the game with indie beginnings that Nintendo snapped up, will be making it on to the console for March 3rd for £17.99. Not only that but, from March 10th, you’ll be able to find Snipperclips bundled in with some red and blue Joy-Con bundles, although a price hasn’t been listed yet, so it might be a handy way to save a few pennies if you’re planning to buy more Joy-Cons AND Snipperclips. You can see some footage of the game below, which does a much better job at describing it than I ever could.

Also making it on to the console for the March 3rd launch is Fast RMX, a high speed racing game in the vein of F-Zero and Wipeout. There will also be Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, which features all previously released campaign updates and Specter of Torment, a new campaign featuring Specter Knight that will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch for a limited time. We will have an article up of all the Nintendo Switch launch games soon, but until then you can see some footage of both games below.
