Finally, one of the most demanded games has come to light in the form of Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. Who would’ve thought that a game about plants would be so popular??

PvZ started off as a tactical game but PvZ:GW has changed from that completely. You can see from the trailer at E3 the difference in gameplay. It’s now a Third Person Shooter more than anything. Instead of the zombies taking the battle to your garden, you are taking the battle to their mansion.

The demo shown us a 4 player co-op match (assuming bots take over if humans aren’t around) with the ability to pick a different plant to assume different roles in the team. We have all the favorites coming back for seconds. The classic peashooter, the sunflower, the chomper and the cactus all making their return for this impressive looking sequel.

Similar to the first title you will be making your way through wave after wave of zombies, once the wave is defeated you meet the wave boss. In the demos case it was the ‘Disco Zombie’ (complete with dancers) as the boss. Although afterwards we met the ‘Gargantuar’ zombie as well. They took this opportunity to show us the air support ability that the cactus is able to provide.

I didn’t think it was possible to improve Plants vs Zombies…but my fellow gamers, I have been proved wrong.
