Halo 2 Players Get A Nice Reward

For those die hard Halo 2 players who just can’t let the game go, there’s a good chance that they’ll receive an invitation to the Halo Reach beta.

Since Xbox Live for the original Xbox games is being shut down in April, Microsoft and Bungie seem to be compensating for it. Players will receive the invitation via email as well as 3 months of Xbox Live Gold and 400 Microsoft points.

Not bad at all.

I wouldn’t be surprise if half the people on my friend’s list suddenly start to play Halo 2 in a desperate attempt to get an invitation without buying Bungie’s latest Halo installment “ODST.”
