New WWE 2K16 screenshots show big improvements to Brock and Y2J

A batch of new screenshots have been released for WWE 2K17 and if you were disappointed with the likenesses of “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar and the “Ayatollah of Rocknrolla” Chris Jericho, then hopefully you’ll be a little more happy after looking at these latest images.

In previous games of the series, Chris Jericho was one of the worst likenesses and even on the new-gen systems, he still looked pretty much last-gen.  But now he looks far more like his real-life counterpart in stunning detail.  Also with Brock Lesnar, for some reason his face looked rather puffy in previous games, but now his likeness has also been fixed.  You can see his improvement in further detail with his entrance video below.

Also if you take a good look at Brock’s screenshot, you should notice that he’s in the Wrestlemania 32 arena and what’s special about that, is that its outdoor’s and the sun is shining down, which is a first for the series.  I can’t help but noticed the quality in lighting effects too, for both outdoor and indoor arena’s.  Let’s just hope the game plays as good as it looks.

The new screenshots also include images of WWE’s residential twins, the Bella’s and the Uso’s.  I also think it’s very safe to assume that these screenshots and entrance video, represent the new-gen versions of the game, rather then last-gen.

WWE 2K17 will release for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on October 11th.
