Strategy game Prison Architect took the PC by storm last year. It’s now looking to do the same with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. In the game you build and manage a prison and if that sounds a bit dark that’s because it is. Think of it as a Theme Hospital take on the depressing world of prison management though and you get an idea about how it deals with the situation.

The game has a story mode for those that like a bit of structure to their games, but you can also just build a prison and see how it goes if you prefer that style of gaming. The developers have stated that they’ve took the time to plan how to make the game work on consoles and that’s great to hear. Strategy games are always a difficult thing to get right on console, but hopefully this is one of the rare success stories.

You’ll be able to pick up Prison Architect on consoles on the 28th June. We will hopefully have a review on the site in the coming weeks, but to give you a better understanding of what the game actually is about, check out the trailer for it below.
