Far Cry Getting Anciently Primal?

 

As you may or may not have heard, quite an interesting report has surfaced today regarding the future of Ubisoft’s Far Cry series. Originally the story began when Ubisoft started teasing something eerie with the trailer that we have embeded above. However, back then, it wasn’t really made clear as to what exactly the video related to.

Now, fast forward a couple of hours, and it looks like IGN may have accidentally dropped a hammer on Ubisoft’s foot with an accidental reveal, more specifically IGN Turkey has. Probably a good while before the official reveal, the Twitter account for IGN Turkey accidentally tweeted an image with the text Far Cry Primal underneath it. All but confirming the fact that Far Cry is set to go primal with a new spin-off.

Understandably, a lot of people have already started comparing it to Zeno Clash, which is regarded as one of the best first person melee combat games ever. Still, there are no specifics yet as to what this exactly is and what the gameplay will entail. Though, you have to admit of the limitless possibilities opened by peeking into this exotic timeline.
