Earlier in the year Techland, the developers of Dying Light had a rather tongue in cheek parody to the Red Bull campaign associated with Destiny. Their version was to promote the healthiest of drinks, water. The #DrinkForDLC took off to a flying start that reached over 15 million people and generated more than 15,000 creative photos and videos by the community, a response that they could never have anticipated.
Now Techland has detailed the free DLC content from the Drink for DLC campaign and it will be a three-part DLC pack. The #DrinkForDLC content pack will release on the same day as Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition on February 9th 2016.
Below is what’s includes in the DLC:
The Fountain of Youth– all-new exploration-based quest available in the Old Town area.
Water 2.0– blueprint for a new throwable weapon that intensifies the electrocution effect of all other weapons.
Water Challenges– two brand-new parkour challenges designed around the theme of water.
