Fans of classic Double Fine adventure games knew this was coming for a long time, and why wouldn’t it be? Both Grim Fandango, and Day of the Tentacle have gotten there remasters, it only makes sense that a product just as acclaimed as them would follow suit from them.

Full Throttle was one of the first explosive action games I had ever played, with great jokes, an interesting story and an excellent cast of voice actors, most notable of which was Mark Hamill. I understand that it isn’t unusual to find celebrities like Hamill, voicing today’s big budget games, but back then it was not as popular and this game might have been one of the very earliest to feature a celebrity voice cast.

The remastered version of the game will feature updated visuals, audio and UI. However, original fans that want to have more of the classic experience can mix and match between certain aspects in how the game looks like. So, you can have updated visuals, but the original voice quality or UI or vice versa.

The game will be available for the PC, PS4 and PS Vita in 2017.
