Days Gone Gets a February 2019 Release Date and a New Trailer #E30218

Last month it was announced that the post-apocalyptic, zombie infested open-world survival horror game Days Gone was to be delayed from releasing this year to sometime during early 2019.  However, Sony and developers Bend Studio have confirmed the new set release date, and Days Gone will now release exclusively for PlayStation 4 on February 22nd 2019.

The news was announced via a brand new trailer that also revealed two new animal threats with the infected mountain lions and swarms of ravenous ravens, who are named Criers in the world of Days Gone.  We also see a new enemy faction called R.I.P (very welcoming) and our protagonist Deacon wondering wounded into a settlement after being viciously attacked.

We also get to see three characters that will feature in the game with William “Boozer” Gray who was first introduced in the 2016 reveal trailer, described as a “tough, cynical, and a badass”, but also a loyal friend to Deacon.  Then we have Alkai Turner an arms dealer of the Hotsprings Camp and Ada Tucker, a former prison matron who is running the said camp.

You can watch the brand new trailer, as well as checking out a batch of new screenshots.  Bend Studio has also promised to reveal more gameplay and information on Days Gone during E3 this coming weekend.
