Steamforged Games, the creators of the Dark Souls and forthcoming Resident Evil 2 board games has just launched the Kickstarter campaign for their next project, the Horizon Zero Dawn Board Game.  In collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Games, this board game looks to be as official as it gets and quite frankly, awesome.

Launching just yesterday, Steamforged has already smashed their target goal of £155,00, as at the time of writing, nearly £450,000 has already been pledged to back the campaign from nearly 4,500 backers (including me).

At the moment, you have a choice of two pledges, the Early Bird Limited Seeker Pledge for £95 and the Limited Edition Seeker Pledge at £100.  Now at this moment, both pledges include the exact same items, so if you want to back this campaign and save £5 in the process, get backing the Early Bird Pledge before they are gone.  But even if you miss out, with all the potential stretch goals (which I’m sure will all be achieved), £100 looks to be great value for money anyway.

By backing either of the current two pledges you will receive the base Horizon Zero Dawn Board Game, however, this will differ from the one that will eventually release at retail, as the pledges included the Limited Edition Kickstarter version.  You will also get two expansions with The Sacred Land and The Lawless Badlands, as well as an exclusive Kickstarter Aloy miniature and all unlocked stretch goals.

At the time of writing, this campaign has 21 days until it ends and the estimated delivery date for the Horizon Zero Dawn Board Game is March 2020.  You can check out further details, as well as the stretch goals via the campaigns Kickstarter page, below you’ll also find a playthrough video of the board game in question.
